What an amazing day to make a splash and become husband and wife.

The day started like any other June day....Not.

Corie's house was full of friends and family as they got ready for this very special day.

Love and emotions were every where you looked.

Some of the bridesmaids got ready while Corie stole her best friend and headed to "True Beauty by Dana" to get her makeup done.

Might I add how perfect she looked after.

I love a makeup artists colorful hands. 

Now as Corie got ready the boys had other things in mind, well that is, after their 20 minutes of getting ready. 

See Pokemon were more fun. So how do you take pictures....like this, while you laugh.

You see there was just a little mishap with the ties so they will put them on later. 

Role with the punches and have fun they say.

After Corie's makeup it was time to get her back to the house to finish getting ready.

Meet Archie, he wanted to be apart of the wedding day too. 

He was every where checking things out and couldn't quite figure what was going on. 

As mom brings in the veil for the final touches the emotions were a little overwhelming.

This is a best friend moment right before they left for the church.

Speaking of leaving for the church the guys have arrived at the church and can now put their ties on.

Since the reception was in downtown Valparaiso

 we decided to spend our in-between time walking the streets.

The bride and groom had a request that we take a few night pictures so I hope you enjoy.

This pictures was shot with a speed light shooting up on then to capture the eyes and cathedral veil in downtown Valparaiso, Indiana. The Canon camera was set at F3.2, 1/100, ISO 500

All Mine/Downtown Valparaiso/ Wedding PhotographyIn downtown Valparaiso there is a road that has lights going across the road. The bride had been scoping it out for weeks wondering if we could sneak away for about a half hour and make this perfect backdrop look amazing on their wedding day. It is something that normally doesn't happen because once you get to the reception it is hard to pull the bride and groom away. Urschel Pavilion was so close to downtown that we as photographers had to make it work if we could sneak the bride and groom away. This was so much fun watching the bride walk trough the streets with no shoes on and the love of both just flowed as they got a little alone time. The timing was right and the famous dip and kiss seemed the perfect picture with the cathedral veil to make this backlit street look amazing. Canon, F2.8, 1/80, ISO800

A Quiet Bench on Your Wedding Day/Downtown Valparaiso/Wedding PhotographyOn this June 2017 wedding day, after the dancing at the reception had started and everyone was having fun we decided to seek away so the new Mr. & Mrs. could spend some time alone as husband and wife. Downtown Valparaiso was a perfect place to do this because from Urschel Pavilion it was a quick walk to downtown for this bride and groom to spent some alone time with each other while we made the darkness look beautiful with a little night photography.
