Elena & Zak's Wedding Day

June 18, 2017 will be a Father's Day to remember. 

A Sunday wedding

that both their parents celebrate as their anniversaries,

what a perfect day to get married.  

Enjoy a little preview of their special day.

Elena started her mornings out with family and friends to help make this a very special day. 

The sound of laughter and music, the smell of breakfast and the peace of God filled the house as the girls got ready.

Soon, I Elena,

will marry her best friend.

Can you hear the squeal as she says,

"I am getting married today."

A small pause and a giggle,

Then she says,

"Can someone hand me my glasses I can't see anything."

Followed by laughter.

Priceless memories!

Zak's turn. 

A few small touches and you look perfect.

A quick prayer and we are ready to go.

Now the guys went outside to do a few pictures together

before the ceremony

and we find a lot of laughter,

a lot of goofing around

and a few dogs who wanted to play.

Remember the squeal of excitement from Elena, well the squeal was a little different from Zak.

Zak and Elena decided to do a first look

before the ceremony and I will let them share that moment with you.

This picture is right at the end

as we were calling the bridal party and family to come join them for some pictures.

This is one of the many reasons why Harry and I love first looks

it gives them time alone to spend just being them. 

Meet the bridal party.

It is time to get married.

 The ring bearer needed special help form the best man and maid of honer to get down the aisle.

You see he had a very special job caring the bride and groom's rings

and this very special pillow hand made with love.

He might have been a little scared too.

Isn't she the cutest flower girl?

Here comes your bride.

You look absolutely stunning Elena!

This wedding had so many special moments. 

It is not every day a dad gets to officiate his son's wedding

and be there when the tears fall with a hand of comfort. 

This part of the ceremony is about 3 strands that can not be broke,

God, Elena, and Zak.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

The laughter didn't stop.

Three special dances at the reception.

The bride and groom had a special request at the reception. 

The instructions were,

if you want them to kiss you had to tell a story about them.

The stories that came through were hilarious.

The reception was short,

so the families that attended could spend time with their dads on Father's Day.

We were able to spend some special alone time at the beach after.

These pictures were taken at Indiana Dunes at sunset.

Quiet,

romantic,

and the beginning of their lives as husband and wife.

I leave you with this last picture and a verse.

Matthew 19:6

So they are no longer two, but one in flesh.

Therefore

what God has joined let no one separate.

You will always be my forever.

You are the blue crayon I can't get enough of.

You are the crayon God uses to color my sky.
